India Economic Summit : Gautam Gambhir has been in the midst of all the criticism after India's 3-0 home-Test series loss to New Zealand. The India Head Coach is often known for his blunt replies and speaking his heart out. Just like his playing days, Gautam Gambhir doesn't hold himself back and voices his opinion even as the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team. Prior to the Indian Team's flight to Australia, Gambhir spoke exclusively to the media about the BGT and he didn't mince words.

Ponting had raised serious questions on Virat Kohli 's form and how he justifies his place in the Indian Test team. Gambhir did not take this comment lightly and hit back at Ponting. Gambhir also said that Ponting should focus on Australian cricket. After Gambhir's Press Conference, former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar requested the BCCI to keep the Head Coach away from the media.
