The countdown to BGT is quickly approaching, and the ultimate challenge will take place down under. Team India and Australia will face off in what is expected to be a war between the two sides. India is fighting for a spot in the World Test Championship Final, as they are currently ranked second behind the BGT hosts. One major concern is the pink ball Test, which India has not participated in for quite some time. To prepare for the series, Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir outlines his strategy for the clash in Adelaide, which will be a pink-ball test match.

Gautam Gambhir Reveals His Plans To Prepare Team India for Pink Ball Test In Adelaide 

In order to avoid the previous embarrassment they faced at the Adelaide Oval, Team India seemingly has a plan in mind to prepare for the pink ball test match against Australia. While speaking to the media at a press conference, Gautam Gambhir emphasized the importance of Team India's two-day practice against the Prime Minister XI for the day-night clash in Adelaide, Australia.

"No, I think we've got nine days before the Pink ball Test, and we've got a two-day practice game against Prime Minister XI. So I think there's going to be enough time for us to prepare for the Pink Ball Test match, and it's going to be exciting. I think that is something which a lot of people actually look forward to because it's a new thing. It's a great venue to play Pink ball Test match as well," Gautam Gambhir said.

Team India suffered a humiliating loss after they were dismissed for a mere 36 runs at the 2020 BGT series. The Border Gavaskar Trophy series will also decide India's fate for the World Test Championship Final after they suffered a humiliating 0-3 series whitewash at home against New Zealand. The first ball of the BGT series will be bowled in Perth's Optus Stadium on November 22, 2024.
