Recently, Harshit Rana appeared on a podcast where he addressed various topics, including the recent controversy surrounding Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Riyan Parag. The host asked Rana about the incident where Parag's search history was exposed during a live stream on YouTube, revealing that he had searched for "hot" videos of actors Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan.

Harshit Rana's response was both humorous and supportive. "Hass raha tha main toh. Obviously, main toh hassunga. Maine phone bhi kiya tha. But theek hai, hum hass ke taal dete hai yeh sab cheezein. Zimbabwe tour pe hongi baat agar hum saath gaye toh. Waha toh unki aur mazak karunga main. Pehle toh bolunga Live mat jaya karo (I was laughing about it. I called him after the incident. But it's okay, we laugh and forget about it. We will talk about it on the Zimbabwe tour if we go together. I will not spare him there. Firstly, I will tell him not to go live again)," Rana shared during the podcast.

Riyan Parag finished as the third-highest run-scorer in IPL 2024. He was the top scorer for Rajasthan Royals and helped the side reach the playoff stage of the tournament.
