Where is Kuldeep Yadav?

Kuldeep Yadav, who has played an instrumental role for India in the last couple of years, and has completed the unsolved puzzle, is not in not a part of the India tour of Sri Lanka. What might be the reason behind his absence, republicworld.com sought the answer for the same from former India cricket Venkatpathy Raju. Sony Sports Network recently conducted a virtual media session with Venkatpathy Raju. Republic was a part of the group and got the opportunity to put the question in front of the ex-India cricketer.

The ex-cricketer vehemently made it known he is been rested and nothing else.

"We always give rest to one of our certainties. We have already tried and trusted them. Like somebody Bumrah who will just walk into any team. Here Kuldeep could be a match winner, not only in T20, not only in 50 overs, even in Test matches. I think he requires this rest, then again he has to be a matchwinner, try to play as many matches as possible. You don't have to prove anybody beside he's already going to be a part of the team whenever they want him. Here, we should give credit to the selectors for trying new talent. They should also get used to international cricket. They have played in Zimbabwe, now you are playing in Sri Lanka, who are former world champions. They can be at their best when they play at home and it is a very talented team. So, it gives an opportunity to prove to yourself, to test how good you are where you could improve. So, there will be a lot of discussions because we are used to seeing stars, who have been going so well, winning matches, when a new face comes in sometimes we lose our patience, we have to be a little more patient. There is so much of cricket, India plays the maximum, everybody wants to play against India because wherever India plays the stadiums go full."
