'I think it’s time': Nitish Rana shares heartfelt post as he parts ways with DDCA
Amidst the ongoing dispute with the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), Nitish Rana comes up with a huge announcement on his cricketing career.
Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders didn't perform well in the 16th edition of the tournament and were knocked out in the league phase. The team was led by Nitish Rana, in the absence of Shreyas Iyer, however, the left-handed Delhi batter was also disappointed with his batting performance. Apart from his performance in the IPL 2023, Rana is also part of the headlines due to his dispute with the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

Nitish Rana parts ways with DDCA
Amidst the ongoing dispute with his state cricket board, has ended his long-time association with the Rohan Jaitley-led Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Rana issued a statement on his official Twitter handle and said:
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the opportunities, guidance, and support which DDCA has provided me over the years. As I move on to new horizons, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey I had while captaining Delhi Cricket and express my sincere appreciation. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Rohan Jaitley for his support and cooperation during my time with DDCA. However, I think it’s time to turn the page and embark on a new chapter in my career.
I have come to this decision with a lot of thought and I’m happy to announce that I’ll be joining UPCA for the upcoming domestic season. I’m excited to play for UPCA, and I look forward to working with everyone to reach new heights.
Nitish Rana moves to UPCA after ending his stint with DDCA
Delhi left-handed batter Nitish Rana was unhappy with the DDCA for a long time after he was replaced with a young player as the captain of the team. Rana has now moved to Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and will aim to make new records for the Rajeev Shukla-led State cricket board.
