Australian batter Glenn Maxwell has paid heed to the Kohli vs Smith battle and stated that whoever will have more impact in the series will give his team an edge. Maxwell predicted that if not both one of them would manufacture a run-fest in the series, and concluded it by putting it as a battle to be intrigued about.
“I think probably the way that the two superstar batters, Steve Smith and Virat Kohli , head-to-head, seeing how their dominance, I suppose, is asserted on the series and how much of an influence that has on who takes home the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
