Let’s take a look at the India's possible XI for the 3rd ODI match, as many star players will return for the match ahead of the World Cup.

Rohit Sharma (c)

After a rest during the first two ODIs, India's captain, Rohit Sharma, returns to guide the side in the final game. As the last practice before the World Cup, this game gives Rohit a chance to get back to the form he showed at the Asia Cup 2023. With a strong record against Australia, Rohit continues to be a valuable wicket at the top of the order.

Ishan Kishan

India has declared that Ishan Kishan will open the innings, providing a valuable left-hand and right-hand mix to the team's lineup, with Shubman Gill resting for the third One-Day International. Ishan has been playing significant cameos in this series and has been in decent form lately.

Virat Kohli

After missing the first two games, Virat Kohli returns to the starting lineup. Similar to Rohit, Kohli has a strong record against Australia, and as he has shown recently, the opposition is fully aware of his ability to dominate and put in significant innings. The Australian team will therefore make it their first aim to dismiss him early.

Shreyas Iyer

When batting at number four in ODIs, Shreyas Iyer has excelled. Iyer is bursting with confidence to take on the Australians after hitting his third century in the last match. His goal is to put pressure on the opposition and make India's confidence in him seem justified.

KL Rahul (wk)

KL Rahul has been remarkably consistent since returning from injury, scoring two half-centuries in his first two ODIs. Rahul has established himself as a key contributor in the middle order, trustworthy whether India starts well or not. Given his present form, he should put forth another great performance.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav has been in outstanding form this series, notably contributing to India's triumphs. He struck 50 off 49 balls during a chase in the first game, then an undefeated 72 in the second game in Indore. India is counting on him to put in another outstanding performance, which might lead to a 3-0 series victory.

Ravindra Jadeja

The Indian team benefits from Ravindra Jadeja's versatility in all areas. He took three key wickets to help India win the last match. His batting is well-known, but this series hasn't really tested it. Jadeja wants to finish the series well with his bat and ball.

R Ashwin

In the second ODI, R Ashwin showed incredible form, taking three crucial wickets in the middle overs to severely hinder Australia's progress. Ashwin understands the value of leaving a lasting impression despite a lengthy absence from ODI cricket.

Kuldeep Yadav

For the third game, India's wrist-spinning superstar, Kuldeep Yadav, is back. Despite not being used in the first two games, his abilities should be used right away. Wrist spinners have historically caused Australia problems, and Kuldeep has the equipment to take advantage of this vulnerability.

Jasprit Bumrah

After a rest in the second ODI, Jasprit Bumrah replaces Prasidh Krishna in the playing XI. In the first ODI, Bumrah bowled well, holding the Australian batsmen at bay.

Mohammed Siraj

In this match, Mohammed Siraj will replace Mohammed Shami, the series's leading wicket taker. Before the World Cup, India hopes to get Siraj some playing time. Siraj's 6/21 against Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 demonstrated his ability to threaten the opposition, making him an invaluable member of the team.
