Independence Day: Team India wishes all Indians, Virat Kohli hails 'most iconic day in our country's history'
On the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day, Team India have also come to wish their fans. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav and coach Ravi Shastri have conveyed their Independence Day wishes.

India celebrates its 73rd Independence Day on Thursday. It was on this day in 1947 that India finally got rid of the British rule after a long wait of over 150 years. On this day, all the citizens of India come forward to not only celebrate this historic day but also to remember the great leaders who had sacrificed their lives to make this a reality. While the wishes are being poured from all corners, even the cricketing fraternity is coming forward with their wishes.
Team India wishes everyone a Happy Independence Day
On the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day, Team India have also come to wish their fans. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Kedar Jadhav, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav and coach Ravi Shastri have conveyed their Independence Day wishes to all the fellow Indians. Meanwhile, skipper Kohli has termed it as the 'Most iconic day in the history of our country'.

India win the ODI series against West Indies
The Men In Blue continue to have a dream run in the ongoing Caribbean tour as they have added another feather in their cap by winning the One Day International series by an unassailable 2-0 lead against West Indies. This comes after Virat Kohli & Co. had whitewashed the Windies 3-0 in the T20I series.
West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. Chris Gayle, who was playing the final match of his international career scored a quickfire 41-ball 72 a knock which helped the Calypso Boys get to 240/7 in their 35 overs in a rain-curtailed match.
In reply, India got past the finish line without breaking a sweat riding on captain Kohli's unbeaten 99-ball 114. This was also his 43rd ODI ton. Thus, he was adjudged both Man of the Match as well as the series.
