Axar Patel recently revealed some exciting news regarding his family. The Indian all-rounder has officially become a father for the first time in his life. Axar and his wife, Meha, have welcomed new life to the world as they announce the birth of their first-born child.

Team India all-rounder Axar Patel and his wife Meha have announced the borth of their first child. In a special post on Instagram, the couple made the announcement and shared an image. They dressed up the baby in the India Blue color and also revealed the name of their firstborn, Haksh Patel. The 30-year-old cricketer shared a heartfelt photo depicting the little kid holding his parents' hands. Haksh was born on December 19 and is the first child of Axar and his wife, Meha. The Indian all-rounder got married in January 2023.

“He's still figuring out the off side from the leg, but we couldnt wait to introduce him to all of you in blue. World, welcome Haksh Patel, India's smallest, yet biggest fan, and the most special piece of our hearts,” Axar Patel and his wife Meha wrote on the social media platform Instagram.

Rohit Sharma Broke The News Regarding Axar Patel During Pre-Match Presser

Notably, India captain Rohit Sharma had broke the news during the pre-match press conference ahead of the Boxing day Test against Australia. He pointed out that Axar Patel was not considered for the last two Test matches, partly, due to the recent addition of a baby to his family. In order to replace the recently retired R Ashwin, who has called time on his career in International cricket, Mumbai off-spin all-rounder Tanush Kotian has been selected for the remaining two Tests matches in the Border Gavaskar Trophy series.
