The Mumbai Test against New Zealand could very well be the last time we see four Indian stalwarts together on home soil. Virat Kohli , Rohit Sharma , Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have combined and won many games for India over the years, but the Mumbai Test that starts on November 1 could be the last time they play together on home soil. The reason being - no one's getting any young and India play their next home Test series after a year in October 2025. Ashwin is 38, Rohit 37, Kohli will be 36 in a week and Jadeja turns 36 in December. It going to be very wishful to think that the four will play together exactly after a year. Rohit Sharma : Over the past two seasons, there have been speculations over his red-ball future. He recently retired from T20 cricket after India won the World Cup. With Rohit, fitness is also a concern and hence it is - like in Kohli's case - difficult to imagine him playing Test cricket. But, this year, his economy has shot up and that is not a good sign. At the present moment, it is hard to imagine him feature in a red-ball game at home after an year.
