Virender Sehwag takes a cheeky dig at England

Upon noting the development related to England carrying their chef, former India batter Virender Sehwag reacted to the update in a cheeky way. Sehwag highlighted that no such need will arise during IPL and also pointed out the name of former England captain Alastair Cook, seemingly an intended pun.

He wrote: "Yeh zaroorat Cook ke jaane ke baad padhi . IPL mein nahi padegi." This need emerged after the departure of Cook. Won't be required during IPL).

For the unaware, many England players fell sick during the Pakistan tour of 2022/23, and since then the need to bring along a personal chef arose. To remain cautious about a potential threat to the health of players, the ECB has resorted to continuing the stay of the chef.
