IPL 2024: Complete list of players 'traded' by IPL teams ahead of mini-auction
Ahead of the mini-auction that is scheduled to take place on December 19, 2023, a trade window is open. Read on to know who have been traded toll now.

The trade window for the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season is now open. During this time, franchises can buy or trade players in preparation for the auction, which will be held in Dubai on December 19. The IPL 2024 trade window closes on Sunday, November 26th, and all ten franchises must submit their retention list prior to the auction. There hasn't been much activity during the current trade window, with only a couple of transactions taking place.

Players traded till now
West Indies bowling all-rounder Romario Shepherd was traded to Mumbai Indians (MI) from Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the first trade activity of the forthcoming season. The 28-year-old, who has also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL, has moved to MI for his current market value of 50 lakh.
The second transfer was a swap agreement in which Team India pacer Avesh Khan was sent from Lucknow Super Giants to Rajasthan Royals (RR). In exchange, left-handed hitter Devdutt Padikkal was moved from RR to LSG.
Avesh was purchased by LSG for 10 crore at the 2022 mega auction, while Padikkal was purchased by RR for 7.75 crore at the same auction.

All eyes on Hardik Pandya's rumoured transfer
As per reports, Mumbai Indians are prepping up to bring Hardik Pandya back to MI from Gujarat Titans. To attain Pandya's services, MI is willing to pay an exorbitant sum, so much so that if the deal materialises it could go on to become the biggest one of the cash-rich league. However, it is all a speculation as of now and a concrete update is awaited on the subject.
