After the announcement of Hardik Pandya replacing Rohit Sharma as the skipper of the Mumbai-based franchise, a horde of comments and posts came in support of the Team India captain. One of MI's fiercest rivals, CSK, posted one of Rohit Sharma's images with their captain, MS Dhoni, on social media. Chennai applauded Rohit's run as captain and the rivalry they built throughout the seasons of the Indian Premier League.

After the announcement of the team's new captain, the Mumbai Indians took the time to put some respect over Rohit Sharma's run as a captain. Given that he has led the team to five titles, they had to share their respect for one of the greatest IPL skippers of all time.
