Located at Cricket Central, 161 Silverwater Road, Sydney Olympic Park, the new academy will offer state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor training facilities available year-round. Coaching sessions for both boys and girls are set to commence in September, aiming to nurture young talent and enhance their cricketing skills.

CSK's CEO, KS Viswanathan, expressed his enthusiasm about expanding the franchise’s ties with Australia. He emphasized Australia's rich cricketing legacy and strong sporting culture as key factors in selecting Sydney for the academy.

“Australia is a champion country with a strong sporting culture and rich cricketing legacy. The Super Kings Academy will tap into and help groom cricketers, both boys and girls, adding to the already strong system in the country," Viswanathan said.

“Geographical boundaries are shrinking rapidly in cricket over the last few years. With presence in India, USA, UK and now Australia, we have the opportunity to develop the next generation of cricketers through our world class facilities, strong coaching curriculum, exchange programmes and more,” he added.

The new academy in Sydney is poised to become a hub for aspiring cricketers, offering them access to high-quality coaching and training resources. With MS Dhoni, CSK's iconic captain, playing a pivotal role in the franchise's success, there is anticipation that his cricketing wisdom and leadership might influence the training programs and inspire young Australian cricketers.
