Rajasthan Royals (RR) head coach Rahul Dravid has revealed that skipper Sanju Samson played a significant role in the team's retention decisions, which saw them opt for the maximum six retentions ahead of the Indian Premier League ( IPL ) mega auction. Dravid explained that the decision to retain six players was based on the team's trust in their talent and their desire to maintain stability.Dravid also discussed the advantages of retaining six players, stating that it brings stability and allows the team to build on their core.
