Tilak Varma Plays Down Rumored Rifts In MI Dressing Room With Jaw-dropping Comment On Hardik Pandya

At the post-match presentation after Team India secured a 2-1 lead, Centurion Tilak Varma opened upon his camaraderie with Hardik Pandya, emphasizing the bond they share and the admiration he has for him. He added that Hardik proved his worth at the T20 World Cup after Team India won.
"I have great relations with Hardik, we have a great bonding. He (Hardik) is a good senior player for India and has proven himself as a World Cup-winning vice-captain and the captain of Mumbai Indians. He guides me well," Tilak Varma said after India defeated South Africa in Centurion.
Tilak Varma highlighted how Pandya has benefited his career, saying that the veteran all-rounder's guidance and leadership have been crucial. He played down any rumours regarding tensions and rifts in the Mumbai Indians dressing room after Hardik became the franchise's skipper.
"Whatever happens outside, in reality, we are all together. We stand united through ups and downs," Varma added.
Tilak Varma showcased his grit and power when he came in at the number three spot. The batting all-rounder's 107* off 56 balls and Abhishek Sharma's half-century were clinical to Team India's performance as they scored 219/6 after batting first at the SuperSport park in Centurion. Varma hit eight boundaries and seven sixes to complete his ton in South Africa.
Team India is now 2-1 up against the Proteas Men after the Men in Blue won the 3rd T20I match-up. All eyes will be on the series decider clash when both sides will lock horns at the Wanderers Stadium in Sandton, South Africa.
