Ellyse Perry has been arguably the best all-rounder for Australian Women's Cricket Team since the past few years. She is now doing her country proud with some outstanding performances against England Women's Team in their own backyard.

Perry had earlier taken 7/22 in the third One Day International as England were bundled out for a paltry score of 75 while chasing a target of 269. This time, the 28-year-old has made an impact both with the bat and the ball against England in the ongoing Women's Ashes at Taunton.

Yes, that's correct. Perry, who was a part of the Australian squad that won the Women's World Cup in 2013 and last year's Women's World T20 scored an outstanding century after the Aussies had won the toss and elected to bat first. The young batter came out to the middle at the fall of skipper Meg Lanning when the scorecard read 160/3. She was also involved in a 162 run stand along with Rachael Haynes for the fourth wicket as she went on to score a 281-ball 116. Her knock helped Australia post a huge total of 420 for the loss of eight wickets after which they declared their innings.

Perry then provided an early breakthrough for her team with the ball by scalping Tammy Beaumont before the stroke of lunch as the hosts were reduced to 1/1.

Even the fans came forward to appreciate the young cricketer for her impressive all-round performance.
