The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to unveil its state-of-the-art National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. On Saturday, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah took to Twitter to share an exciting update about the new NCA, posting a few pictures and providing details about the impressive facilities the academy will offer.

"Very excited to announce that the @BCCI’s new National Cricket Academy (NCA) is almost complete and will be opening shortly in Bengaluru," Jay Shah tweeted. He went on to highlight the key features of the new NCA, which promise to elevate the training standards for India’s cricketers.

The new NCA boasts three world-class playing grounds, which will provide ample space for practice matches and skill development. In addition to the playing grounds, the academy will feature 45 practice pitches, allowing cricketers to hone their techniques under various conditions.

For indoor training sessions, the NCA will include indoor cricket pitches, ensuring that players can continue their practice irrespective of weather conditions. Additionally, the academy will house an Olympic-size swimming pool, facilitating top-notch aquatic training and recovery programs.

One of the standout features of the new NCA is its state-of-the-art training, recovery, and sports science facilities. These amenities are designed to provide comprehensive support to athletes, helping them maintain peak physical condition and recover efficiently from injuries. The inclusion of advanced sports science resources underscores the BCCI's commitment to fostering a holistic development environment for cricketers.
