The South African cricket team witnessed a minor issue between Kagiso Rabada and wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock on the field, which lead to captain Faf du Plessis intervene and keep the two players having the issue run out of hand. It all started in the 123rd over on Day two of the second Test match between India and South Africa.
The incident
After the first delivery of the 123rd over, Rabada threw the ball to the wicketkeeper, who was probably not aware of the same and thus failed to catch in time. The two batsmen on the crease - Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja - sensed an opportunity to sneak a quick single. Rabada, who was visibly frustrated since the Indian batsmen were on the strong foot, lost his cool and shouted at his teammate for not being alert and giving away a run. de Kock, another senior member of the team was not in any mood to take hear anything from hid bowler and replied to his bowler. The incident did not end there since at the end of the over, they continued the argument and since Rabada was close to the wicketkeeper while fielding, it only increased. Captain Faf de Plessis had to jog over to prevent the situation from running out of hand.
Twitter reacts
The internet took notice of the issue brewing between the two players and as always, had a few thoughts on the same.
Cricket Australian media would be all over Rabada and De Kock by this time if it happened in down under but here not even the footage circulating in social media platforms what a joke @BCCI

Our boys are so frustrated man. 💔#INDvSA
South Africa had a hard day at office since the Indian batsmen lead by captain Virat Kohli were in no mood to be sluggish. Kohli played through the day, scoring a double century and ending the day at 254 not-out. The day also saw Ajinkya Rahane score 59 runs, Cheteshwar Pujara score 58 runs and Ravindra Jadeja scored a massive 91 runs. These middle contribution helped India score and declare at 601 runs for 5 wickets. South Africa did not have the start they would have wanted with three wickets being picked in just 15 overs, and they ended the day at 36 runs for three wickets, trailing by 565 runs. A very steep slope to climb for the South African side on day three.
