‘Absolute Rubbish!’: CSK Fielding Coach Rubbishes Claims of Dhoni’s Alleged Rage After Match vs RCB

Reports circulated that MS Dhoni was enraged after CSK was eliminates from the IPL playoffs. In response, Tommy Simsek said that MSD did not break anything.

One of MS Dhoni 's classic traits is that he has kept his cool no matter how much the situation goes down. However, one of Harbhajan Singh's statement on MSD caused a stir as the spinner claimed he was animated after the Chennai Super Kings ' loss to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2024 season and also broke a television set in a rage. However, one Of CSK's fielding coaches has refuted the claims which have spread like wildfire in recent times.

CSK Fielding Coach Debunks the MS Dhoni Rage Rumours After the Team’s Elimination From 2024 Playoffs

Reports heavily circulated that MS Dhoni was left enraged after the Chennai Super Kings ' loss to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the race to the IPL playoffs. He vented his anger upon a television set as he made his way back to the dressing room. The match-up was a critical one as it would have decided the team's fate on who would reach the IPL 2024 playoff race. A social media post made the same claim, but CSK's fielding coach Tommy Simsek dismissed the reports.

In response to the post, Simsek wrote in the post's comments section, saying that MS Dhoni did not break anything and he had never seen him aggressive after any match-up. He deemed the news fake and absolute rubbish.

"This is absolute Rubbish! MSD did not break anything and I have never seen him aggressive after any match. Fake news!" Simsek said in a reply to an Instagram post.

The May 18 clash at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium was critical as the winning team would go on to enter the playoff race. Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the match by 27 runs to eliminate CSK from the race. MS Dhoni hit a humongous shot while facing the first delivery off Yash Dayal but was dismissed after he scored 25 off 13 balls.

The post-match scenes stirred a wild controversy as MS Dhoni did not wait for RCB as they celebrated on the pitch. MSD walked back to the dressing room without doing the customary handshake with the opposition, which stirred a dispute over Dhoni's actions over social media.
