Due to this AISECS (Australian-Indian Sports Educational and Cultural Society) is organizing a cricket match between Minister XI and the High Commissioner XI on October 12, 2024, at Bressington Park, Homebush.
Big Names To Take Part In The Match
The match will be led by the Honorable Stephen Kamper, Minister for Sports, Multiculturalism, Land and Property, and Small Business , captaining the Minister XI, while His Excellency Gopal Bagley, High Commissioner of India to Australia, will lead the High Commissioner XI. The star-studded lineup includes prominent leaders such as NSW Member for Riverstone Warren Kirby, Member for Coffs Harbour Gurmesh Singh, Senator Dave Sharma, CEO of Multicultural NSW Joseph LaPosta, Member for Parramatta Donna Davis, Tim Thomas, CEO of the Centre for India Australia Relations, and Former Lord Mayor of Parramatta Sameer Pandey.

High Commissioner Gopal Bagley expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming match, saying, “Cricket has always been a special bond between India and Australia, not just on the field but off it too.
