'He will come out...': Ex-Cricketer Shares Intriguing Perspective On Gambhir As Head Coach of India
Under the stewardship of the new head coach, Gautam Gambhir, India have already lost two series and coincidently both defeats have been striking blows.
Gautam Gambhir 's stint as the head coach of Team India has started on a rough note. Under the stewardship of the new boss, India have already lost two series and coincidently both defeats have been striking blows as one wouldn't have expected Team India to lose to Sri Lanka in the bilateral ODI series after 27 years and certainly no one had predicted that New Zealand will inflict a 3-0 whitewash on India at a home Test series. The unwanted outcomes have left the fans doubting Gambhir.

Gautam Gambhir Gets Support From Former Cricketer
As the entire Team India is under fire for being thrashed at home by New Zealand, coach Gautam Gambhir is also not untouched by the stick. Amidst the incoming criticism, former Indian player Sunil Joshi defended the head coach by urging the knowers of the game not to judge him based on two series.
"Knowing Gautam Gambhir, he is a fighting cricketer and we know his commitment towards the game or towards the team. No coach will ever want to be on the wrong side of a result. We need to give him time. Let's now judge by the two series we have seen, just five Test matches. Of course, on home soil, we have lost. I am sure he will also be disappointed with the way the Test matches have gone, but don't judge his acumen or his commitment," he said.
"He is a fighter and he will come out successful. I know that. We have to give time to them (Gambhir and his coaching staff) to settle down. After two years, the results will be in front of us. Then we can judge."
In a short span, Gautam Gambhir has coached India in four series, winning two out of them and losing two.
