It seems like a fairy tale for Test opener Mayank Agarwal, as the Karnataka lad brought up his second Test double century with a magnificent six against Bangladesh on Friday at Indore. The fiery opener breached the double ton mark in 303 balls, laced with 25 boundaries and five sixes at a strike rate of 65.77. This is Mayank Agarwal's second Test double ton in two consecutive series. Mayank Agarwal helped India regain control over the game after losing Virat Kohli and Pujara early on Day two. Alon with Ajinkya Rahane, Agarwal stitched an important partnership for India and made sure the hosts were ahead of the visitors.

Indian batsmen continue to pile up runs on Day 2
The Indian batsmen continued from where they left on Day 1 as the hosts added another 102 runs to their overnight total. After the lunch break, Team India resumed their batting at 188-3 with Mayank on the verge of yet another Test century. The right-hander eventually reached the three-figure mark and stitched together an unbeaten 184-run stand with Ajinkya Rahane. Rahane, who is 82*, have struck eight boundaries in his innings so far. Mayank himself raced to 156* and is looking all-set to reach yet another Test double in the home season. The India team ended their second session of the day at a commanding position of 303-3. With a lead of 153, the Indian batsmen will be looking to post a huge first-innings score before letting Bangladesh bat again.
