'Crores of people watch': Mohammed Shami finally opens up on his on-field tussle with Hardik Pandya

The incident, which saw the fiery skipper Hardik Pandya losing his cool and shouting at Shami, had been a topic of much speculation among fans and cricket pundits alike.

"I usually don't respond to such things, but when things get too bad, then I do speak up. We have a good connection and are friends. He didn't realize it at that moment. We've known each other for almost 10 years. He told me, 'I swear, I don't know what I've said.' The incident occurred while both were playing for the Gujarat Titans, with Hardik Pandya serving as the captain. The match situation was tense, with the team desperately seeking wickets.
