Shami Set For Return! No Bumrah In Sight As BCCI Announces India's 15-Member Squad For T20Is Against England

Team India is all set to compete in their first bilateral series of 2025. With England touring India for a white-ball series, both sides would engage in a five-match T20I series in various regions of the country. Ahead of the series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] has announced a powerful 15-man side for the T20I series against the Three Lions.

Mohammad Shami Returns, Axar Patel Named As Vice Captain For Upcoming T20I Series Against England

Veteran fast bowling sensation Mohammad Shami is all set for his return to the national side, and he will be in action in T20Is against England at home. In an official statement, the Board of Control for Cricket In India [BCCI] has unveiled the squad for the upcoming white-ball tour against England. Young stars like Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson, Nitish Reddy, and more have found themselves a spot, with the returning Mohammad Shami set for action against the Three Lions. Notably, Ramandeep Singh and Riyan Parag haven't found a spot this time in the squad.

The India speedster has been out of action since the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023. He was toured for a return in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, but a swelling in his knee thwarted the plans. Mohammad Shami has been actively participating in domestic cricket and looks to be ready for his comeback in team India.
