Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his return to the public sphere with a new dashing look, as the wicketkeeper-batsman was spotted in Jaipur.
Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his return to the public sphere with a new dashing look, as the wicketkeeper-batsman was spotted outside Jaipur airport on Saturday. The World Cup-winning captain recently finished his two-week stint with the 106th Battalion of the Territorial Army after recusing himself from India's tour of West Indies. MS Dhoni is expected to make a comeback to the field later this year as he was last seen playing at the World Cup. The former skipper is known for sporting new looks now and then, as fans remember MS Dhoni from his long hair days to when the captain went bald after winning the World Cup in 2011.

MS Dhoni was given a rousing reception at the Jaipur airport, as the 'Captain Cool' was spotted wearing a black bandana, sporting a commando-like look. A video of MS Dhoni requesting fans to move aside so that he could move forward has gone viral on social media. The police had a tough time helping MS Dhoni to wade through the fans gathered there to see the cricketer, local media sources reported. MS Dhoni was reportedly in Jaipur to attend an event. MS Dhoni's passion for the Army
MS Dhoni formally joined para regiment on July 31. MS Dhoni had earlier announced that he would be unavailable for the upcoming Windies trip and would serve the Indian Army. Confirming his request, the Indian Army Headquarters said that he will be stationed with the Victor Force in the Kashmir Valley and will be taking up patrolling, guard and post duty. They further informed that MS Dhoni who holds a Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) shall be staying with troops. MS Dhoni is a part of Indian territorial army's 106th Battalion (para). The World Cup 2011 winning skipper is a part of TA's 106th Infantry Battalion and was awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2011. The veteran wicket-keeper batsman had also trained with the para regiment after he was given the honorary rank in 2011 in Agra and has completed five parachute jumps.
