MS Dhoni spotted behind the scenes after India whitewash South Africa
MS Dhoni was spotted in the Indian dressing room after India's comprehensive win over South Africa in the third and final Test in Ranchi. India won 3-0.
MS Dhoni has been on a break from cricket ever since India's heartbreaking loss in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at the hands of New Zealand back in July. He had then backed out from team selection for the West Indies tour as he wanted to serve the Indian Army. It has been reported that he will be back in action during the bilateral home series against West Indies in December. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Mahi would also be making his presence felt during the third and final Test between India and South Africa at his hometown in Ranchi and he did not disappoint his fans.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was spotted in the Indian dressing room after the Virat Kohli-led side had registered a comprehensive win over the Proteas by an innings and 202 runs win the series 3-0 at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. Dhoni was standing alongside left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem in the dressing room. It seemed that he was seen giving a piece of advice to Nadeem who had made his Test debut. The image of MS Dhoni making his presence felt was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle. Take a look.
Even Team India head coach Ravi Shastri was also seen posing with the 2011 World Cup-winning skipper. Taking to the micro-blogging site, Shastri wrote that it was great to see a true Indian legend in his den after a fantastic series win.
India whitewash South Africa
It was only a formality for India on the morning of Day 4 as South Africa were already reduced to 132/8 at the end of play on Day 3. Shahbaz Nadeem completed the formalities by scalping the last two wickets of Theunis de Bruyn and Lungi Ngidi respectively as India not only whitewashed South Africa but also continued their undisputed run in the ICC World Test Championship points table with 240 points in five matches.
