Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2025: India's biggest test comes around when they travel to Australia later this year in November. India play Australia in a five-match Test series. India are the defending champions of the Border-Gavaskar trophy and they'll like to inflict a series loss on the hosts for the fifth straight time. The last time India travelled Australia for the Test series, it became of the greatest Test series to be played ever. India vs Australia Test series in many ways is considered bigger than the Ashes.

I'm Extremely Hungry To Turn Things Around: Nathan Lyon

Apart from Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon is another bowler who has helped Australia register many Test series victories on Australian soil. In 129 Test matches, Lyon has taken 530 wickets and is one of the greatest spinners to play the game. Lyon has been at the forefront of Australian bowling attack, but it now seems that he is getting desperate to win a Test series against India. The Aussies have lost four consecutive Test series against India in 2016, 2019, 2021 and 2023.

'It's been ten years of unfinished business, it's been a long time, and I know we're extremely hungry to turn things around especially here at home. Don't get me wrong, India is an absolute superstar side and extremely challenging but I'm extremely hungry to turn things around and make sure we get that trophy back', said Lyon as quoted by ESPNCricinfo.
