Pakistan test cricket side led by Shan Masood sunk to a new low as the team faced an embarrassing 10 wicket loss in their first test match against Bangladesh. This marked the first time Pakistan has ever lost a Test match to Bangladesh in history.

Not only did Pakistan face an embarrassing defeat at home, they are also now holding a humiliating streak at home in Test Cricket.

Pakistan's humiliating streak

Pakistan have long been proud of holding test cricket on their home turf and boast about how good their players play at home. While, they might be good in white ball cricket, in red ball cricket the team continues to underperform.

With the loss to Bangladesh in the first test at Rawalpindi, Pakistan have now gone an unbelievable 1,294 days without winning a Test match at home.

In the timespan, they've lost a test series against both Australia and England. Lost to England in the T20I series as well and lost to New Zealand in the ODI series. They only managed to draw against New Zealand in their test series earlier and have now been humbled by Bangladesh in the first test match of the two match test series - failing to win yet another home series.

How Pakistan lost to Bangladesh

Bangladesh shrugged off political unrest back home to notch a historic 10-wicket win after Pakistan collapsed to 146 all out on a dramatic final day of the first test on Sunday.

Off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz and left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan, who was a lawmaker in the government of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, shared seven wickets after the pace bowlers mopped up the top order to give Bangladesh its maiden win in 14 test matches against Pakistan.
