‘Players Will Enjoy’: Dinesh Karthik Claims Gambhir’s Aggressive Style Will Appeal Team India Stars
Dinesh Karthik feels that India would benefit from head coach Gautam Gambhir's guidance because of his aggressive tendency when defending his players.

After a six-month hiatus, Team India returns to red-ball action in Chennai when they face off against Bangladesh . The Men in Blue kick off a new Test Cricket era under Gautam Gambhir as the coach. Team India have been a dominant Test Cricket force under Dravid as he capped off his Test run with India winning 4-1 against England. To keep India's case for the World Test Championship Final will be one of the biggest tasks for Gambhir and his coaching staff. But Suresh Raina believes the players will enjoy working under coach GG.

Dinesh Karthik Believes Gautam Gambhir ’s Aggression Will Be Enjoyed by India Stars
While speaking to the reporters on the sidelines of Legends League Cricket event, Dinesh Karthik believes that the Men in Blue would be enjoying under the mentorship of head coach Gautam Gambhir as his aggression normally comes out when he has to protect his players. The former India star also pointed out that the India star's intensity will bring out the best in the players.
"His aggression has generally come out in protection of his players and that is something the current lot of players will enjoy. Knowing him, he is not someone who gets angry for the heck of it. I'm sure he will have his turn with strong words for whoever it is required, and it is in his best interest to get the best out of the players.
"He has been a part of numerous T20 tournaments. But this Test series will be completely new for him as a coach and it must be playing at the back of his mind. He is someone who has navigated through tough waters. He's got the acumen to understand the pulse of the game, which is extremely important as a coach," Dinesh Karthik said.

The India vs Bangladesh Test series will be Gautam Gambhir 's first-ever red-ball assignment as the coach for the Men in Blue. The ODI series against Sri Lanka did not go their way as they lost the series, but the team is locked in to put up a dominant showcase and secured the spot for the WTC Final 2025.
