Beyond the physical ability to play and compete, sports is also a lot about how you can mentally prepare and motivate yourself. And I am inspired to be here this morning and to witness so many Wheelchair tennis players setting an example for all us to do more. #IWTT pic.twitter.com/VzOl1sseH0

After the inauguration, Pragyan Ojha said that he was thrilled to see an amazing spirit among the players who were facing such difficult odds. Ojha added that the players and organisers were sending a terrific message by battling over diversity and showing no signs of discomfort and inhibitions despite being especially challenged. He also lauded the players for sending a great inspiration and for showing how sports can transgress all barriers.
A total of 40 players will be taking part in the Charminar Open championship. The tournament is scheduled for both men and women in singles and doubles categories.
Pragyan Ojha last played a Test match for India in November 2013 against West Indies. The left-arm spinner has represented India in 24 Tests, 18 ODI’s and 6 T20I matches.
