August 19 is an auspicious day in India as the nation celebrates ‘Raksha bandhan’. The occasion is to celebrate the bond between a brother and a sister. While the nation celebrates the occasion, the Royal Challengers Bangalore did not want to be left behind, so they came up with a heartwarming post on their social media handles which is now going viral. The post features Virat Kohli and Shreyanka Patil - two popular cricketers. The viral post shows how these cricketers protect their bats, just the way a brother protects his sister. Here is the viral post.

Meanwhile, Kohli is not featuring in the Duleep Trophy and he is already facing criticism for that. Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has slammed the selectors for not picking Kohli. Kohli would next be seen in the Test series against Bangladesh. The Test series between India and Bangladesh starts from September 19. Spotlight would be on Kohli as he would hold the key for India. The Test series will also hold a lot of importance as these games are part of the World Test Championship cycle.
“The selectors have not picked the skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the Duleep Trophy so they will most likely go into the Bangladesh Test series without much match practice,” Gavaskar wrote in his column for the mid-day.
