Ind vs Ban: Young Rishabh Pant had to walk out to bat early in the opening Test at Chennai after India lost three quick wickets. India were reduced to 34 for three inside the first hour thanks to some brilliant bowling by Hasan Mahmud. Rohit Sharma , Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli were back in the hut, yet Pant maintained his aggression. Pant looked to be positive right from the outset depite the side being in trouble. He was not just looking to hit boundaries but was also looking to sneak in singles as and when he got the opportunity. In fact, there was an instance when a Bangladeshi throw hit Pant and then he got into an argument with Litton Das.

Rishabh Pant - "Usko bhi to dekho, merko kuy mar raha hai?"

Litton Das - "Wicket Samne hai to Marega Hi"

Meanwhile, India have recovered after an early setback, all thanks to Pant and Jaiswal. Both have looked to be positive and not allow the Bangladeshi bowlers to get on top. At the time of filing the copy, India were 86 for three. One has to admit that the pitch assisted the pacers early on and hence it was a brilliant call by the Bangladesh captain at the toss to win it and opt to bowl first.
