While the Indian team put forward a spectacular performance against Bangladesh on Sunday, Rishabh Pant's international cricket troubles continued. India won the match by 30 runs after Deepak Chahar cleaned up more than half of the Bangladesh camp with format-best figures of 6/7. Team India newcomer Shivam Dube also showed signs of brilliance as he picked up three wickets to support Chahar but Pant's contributions were nowhere to be seen.

The Rishabh Pant memes just won't stop

Pant, the 21-year-old, wicketkeeper-batsman was highly regarded as the successor to MS Dhoni in Team India, only a few months ago. Currently, Pant has been garnering a lot of flak for his lacklustre performances in the Indian blue. While the youngster has been constantly supported by the veterans of the game, fans have continuously questioned his presence in the playing XI.

Sunday was no different as Pant could only manage to score 6 runs out of the nine balls he faced, getting cleaned up by Soumya Sarkar after playing a loose shot. Pant also DRS-appealed for Mohammad Naim's wicket only for India to lose all its available reviews. Pant was attacked on social media once again as fans began trolling the youngster once again. Here are some of the tweets.
