India vs New Zealand: India captain Rohit Sharma is back to training ahead of the New Zealand series and the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Rohit was spotted in Mumbai doing drills at the Jio Park in Mumbai. The first Test versus New Zealand start from October 16 at the MA. Chinnaswamy stadium. Despite having got low scores against Bangladesh recently, Rohit would be key to India's fortunes in the upcoming Tests, which are part of the ongoing World Test Championship cycle. During the two Tests versus Bangladesh , he registered scores of 23, 8, 6 and 5 in four outings. In the Tests, Rohit would be opening with young Yashasvi Jaiswal and it would be a treat to watch the two together in the middle.

When Will Rohit Play For India Next?

Rohit, who is the captain of the Test team, would be back playing for India in the Tests against New Zealand soon. He would then lead the side in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia in November. Now that he is not playing, Rohit appeared in a popular TV show The Great Indian Kapil Show. In the show, he shared interesting anecdotes from the triumphant T20 World Cup campaign.
