The 'men in blue' are the only team in the history of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup to win the tournament undefeated. With the historic win against South Africa, Rohit Sharma also became the only skipper to have 50 wins in T20Is. Certainly, a record breaking feat for the skipper, the team and the country.

The current T20 World Cup winners landed in India on July 4, 2024 and they were welcomed with open arms everywhere. Cricket fans flocked the Delhi Airport in the early hours of July 4 just to get a glimpse of their champions and the World T20 trophy. After meeting the Prime Minister in Delhi, the Indian Team then headed towards Mumbai to participate in a victory parade that will go down in Indian cricketing history as one of the happiest days.
