Without a doubt, captain Rohit Sharma opens - but, who will be his partner? Will it be the classy Shubman Gill or left-handed Yashasvi Jaiswal? In all probability, India head coach Gautam Gambhir may go for a right-left combination at the top which would mean - Rohit opens with Jaiswal. If Rohit and Jaiswal are opening, Gill will drop down to No. 3 - a slot he is getting more comfortable in. India's premier batter Virat Kohli walks in at No. 4.
