Mohammad Shami's magical form in the 2nd innings of a Test game continued as he added another three-wicket haul to his name, within two sessions on Day three at Indore. Shami got two early wickets to reduce the visitors to four wickets by lunch. However, Shami had lost an opportunity earlier after Mushfiqur Rahim was dropped by Rohit Sharma on the slips. A few overs after lunch, Shami managed to trap Mahmudullah in the same slips, only this time Rohit Sharma managed to hang on to it, making amends for his earlier mistake. Rohit Sharma was also seen practising slip catches during the lunch break. The Hitman signalled confidently towards the fielding coach at the Pavillion once he held on to the catch.

Umesh Yadav leaves Imrul Keyes bewildered
It looked like the Bangladesh batsmen had no escape from the lethal spell of the Indian bowlers as the visitors top-order once again collapsed to the might of the Indian pace attack. The pace trio of Umesh Yadav, Mohammad Shami and Ishant Sharma were on the money right from the first over on Day three. Umesh Yadav drew the first blood as he got rid of Bangladesh opener Imrul Keyes in a stunning fashion, leaving the batsman stunned. Umesh Yadav's delivery crashed into Keyes'leeg stump, sending it flying behind. Shortly after, Ishant Sharma struck to get rid of the other opener. Ishant Sharma's delivery had also left Shadman Islam bewildered in the crease, helpless as he watched the stumps lying on the ground. Moments later, Mohammad Shami struck twice in two overs to reduce the visitors to four wickets down in the first session.
India declare at 493-6
After piling up both runs and misery on Bangladesh on Day two of the first Test against Bangladesh, India have declared at 493-6 at the start of Day three at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Bangladesh failed to stop double -centurion Mayank Agarwal from firing all cylinders and thus paid a heavy price. Bangladesh will face a mammoth task ahead as they trail the hosts by a huge margin of 343 runs. With two days of the game left, Bangladesh will hope to not repeat first innings' form and try to take on the Indian bowling attack.
