Virat Kohli has had a very good outing as a captain ever since India's 2019 World Cup 2019 debacle. After whitewashing the West Indies across all formats, the Virat Kohli-led side registered a clean sweep against South Africa in the Test series recently. By the virtue of this win, India are comfortably placed at the summit of the ICC World Test Championship rankings with 240 points from five matches. However, it seems that he is trying to bring out the best creative techniques from his fans.
Kohli's 'caption this' moment
Recently, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli had taken to social media and posted a Mr. Bean type of GIF and had asked the fans to caption the same. For those unaware of the character, Mr. Bean had British actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson in the lead role and it was a popular sitcom back in the 90s. After having gone through the GIF, the fans came forward with a lot of innovative responses which not only included Mr. Bean and Mukesh Khanna starrer Shaktiman. Here are some of the hilarious reactions.
Rohit to captain India in T20Is
As Virat Kohli has been rested for the limited-overs series, his deputy Rohit Sharma will be donning the captain's hat. Kohli will be back to lead India in the two-match Test series which will be played at Indore and Kolkata respectively. Meanwhile, the second Test at the iconic Eden Gardens scheduled from November 22-26 will be a day-night affair which will also mark the first-ever pink ball international Test in India. Virat Kohli, on the other hand, will be hoping to add some more valuable points in India's World Test Championship tally and aim to surpass Steve Smith to become the top-ranked batsman in the longest format of the game once again.
