India's latest addition to its list of all-rounders Shivam Dube revealed that it was a dream come true moment for him when he received his maiden call-up for the T20 side. Shivam Dube, who kept the domestic season lit with his consistent and impactful performances, was picked in the T20 squad for the Bangladesh series. There couldn't be a better opportunity for Shivam Dube than this as he has the chance to cement his place in the T20 side, especially with the onus being on youngsters and nurturing them in order to build a strong side for the World T20 next year. With Hardik Pandya ruled out of action for the next three months, Shivam Dube will look to make maximum use of his maiden call-up and repeat some of his performances in the domestic level for India.
“I am feeling good after being a part of the team. It was my dream to play for India. Since I am playing for the country it is a proud moment for me and I will continue to work hard,” said Dube.

Shivam Dube's solid performances in the domestic circuit brought him an IPL contract with the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2019 season which was valued at Rs. 5 crores. In 2019, Shivam Dube was vital in the Mumbai team reaching the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarter-finals, scoring 177 runs in five outings with the bat.
