India-W's all-rounder Sneh Rana took a blinder to dismiss Aussie captain, Alyssa Healy, for a duck in the first of the three-match ODI series. The spectacular catch came in the first over of the Australia-W innings and pushed the visitors on the back foot. Ahead of the Australian innings, India-W have put on a sublime performance with the bat and ended up scoring 282/8 after 50 overs.

Sneh Rana takes a stunning catch to send Alyssa Healy back
Having piled up a total of 282, the Aussie openers had an uphill task of giving their side a good start. However, the 3rd delivery of Renuka Singh's first over brought an end to the stay of Healy. Singh enticed Healy to drive, the batter took the invitation and an improper connection brought Sneh Rana onto the scene. Rana made the half chance into a full one and with a diving effort sent Alyssa Healy back to the hut.
India-W vs Australia-W: Match nicely set up
In the match, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to BAT first. The team endured a shaky start and were reeling at 95 for 4. The ups and downs in the innings continued but at the stage of 182/7 after 37.4 overs, playing full 50 overs seemed a daunting task. Jemimah Rodrigues, who remained the anchor in the innings got the much needed support from Pooja Vastrekar. The two put on a significant 68-run stand in the end and helped India reach a formidable total of 282. In reply, Australia are going strong after an early disaster. As per the latest update, Australia-W have got to the total of 118/1 after 21.3 overs.
