Sunil Gavaskar remembers Bishan Singh Bedi
Bishan Singh Bedi, renowned for his exceptional skills, graced the cricketing world with his presence in 67 Tests from 1967 to 1979, amassing an impressive tally of 266 wickets. Sunil Gavaskar, a former teammate of Bishan Bedi, expressed his sorrow at the news of the ex-India captain's demise. "Sad news indeed. He was the finest left-hand bowler that I saw," Sunil Gavaskar told PTI. Apart from Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Gautam Gambhir, and Virender Sehwag also paid tributes to Bedi. Condolences poured in from all over the world, including from the MCC and the Lord's Cricket Ground, where a black rosette was placed on the legendary Indian player's portrait.
