India youngster Abhishek Sharma blew apart other franchise with his fierce batting while playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024. The left-handed batter scored runs for fun and scored them at a brisk pace while batting the opposition out of the game on many occasions. A lot was expected out of Sharma when he was announced to be a part of India's squad that was to tour Zimbabwe for a five match T20I series. Abhishek's first outing in the India colours was disappointing as he couldn't get off the mark. But Sharma turned around things very quickly for him by scoring 100 off 47 balls.
