Suryakumar Yadav

The veteran Mumbai player and the skipper will be leading the team in this year's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Yadav will replace Shreyas Iyer as skipper, who led Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019-20 and is away on national duty for the Bangladesh T20Is. Yadav was the third-highest run-getter (226 runs) for Mumbai in this year's Vijay Hazare Trophy and once again the team will be relying on him to score runs in the tournament.

Siddhesh Lad

The right-handed batsman is reputed for being Mumbai's crisis man due to his match-saving knocks for the team in all formats of the game. Despite some incredible performances, he has only a single IPL game under his belt so far. After a poor outing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he will be looking to put up a good show for aside, who is missing big names.
