After Team India's historic T20 World Cup win, it was an all-out celebration as the Men in Blue were able to bring the title home. Despite some tough circumstances, the team rose up to the occasion, and all the players delivered their best performance while touring the United States and West Indies. India finally secured a title under Rohit Sharma's leadership and the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) honoured the entire team with a whooping ₹125 Crore prize money. A historic feat calls for a wealthy prize, and the Men in Blue deserve all the love and awards for it. But how much money will be disbursed, and who will be receiving the money? Let's take a look.

A thorough breakdown of the BCCI's ₹125 Crore prize money for Team India after the T20 World Cup triumph
After India's historic T20 World Cup win, BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced that the entire team will receive a ₹125 Crore prize from the board. As per reports, the entire side, including the 15-man squad, coaching and backend staff, reserve players, and basically all the people who travelled with the team in some capacity.
As per reports, the 15-man squad, including players like Yuzvendra Chahal and Sanju Samson, who did not play a single game, will receive a sum of ₹5 Crore. Coach Rahul Dravid will also receive the same amount as the players. The rest of the coaching staff like T Dilip and Paras Mhambrey will receive ₹2.5 Crore.
Team India's backend staff, which includes the physios, masseurs, strength & conditioning coach and throwdown specialists will receive ₹2 Crore each. The Selection Committee, including the chairman Ajit Agarkar, will receive ₹1 Crore. Even the reserve players -- Rinku Singh and Shubman Gill, and Avesh Khan and Khaleel Amed -- will be credited ₹1 Crore.

Reports also mentioned that the the travelling media officers, the logistics manager, and the team's video analyst will also receive the prize.
"Players and support staff have been informed about the amount of prize money they will be receiving from the BCCI, and we have asked everyone to submit an invoice," a BCCI source said.
