Ishan Kishan's consistent performances at the top of the order earned him the Player of the Series award, although he wasn't entirely satisfied with his performance, believing he should have converted his starts into big scores. Speaking at the post-match presentation, Kishan said he was "not so happy" with his finishing and wanted to score big runs for his side. Kishan stated that even his seniors told him that he should have stayed in and scored big.
"Not so happy with the finishing that I gave. I was supposed to score big after being set. That’s what my seniors told me, I should’ve stayed in and scored big.
