Rohit Sharma and Co. aim to end World Cup drought

The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma will look forward to the drought of an ICC trophy from the last ten years. The Indian team last won an ICC trophy under the leadership of MS Dhoni and defeated England in the final of the Champions Trophy 2013. Since then, the 'Men in Blue' have not been able to win any ICC event and have always got eliminated from the final stages of the tournament. Team India recently lost its eighth ICC knockout match in the last ten years, when they took on Australia in the final of the World Test Championship 2023.

Yuvraj Singh feels Rohit Sharma will have a brilliant ODI World Cup 2023

While speaking on the Cricket Basu YouTube channel, former Indian cricket team all-rounder Yuvraj Singh said that Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will have a superb ODI World Cup 2023. Yuvraj said that Rohit is not in good form in recent times, and added that the Indian skipper was not in good touch with the bat in the IPL 2019, but went on to hit five centuries in the ODI World Cup in the same year. Yuvraj Singh said:

I understand that Rohit Sharma is not in the best of forms right now. Last time also before the 2019 World Cup, he was not in good form in the IPL. And I told him that something special is coming, just be in the zone. And he went on to score 4-5 hundreds in the World Cup. So maybe he is not in the greatest form right now because he will go berserk at the World Cup. You never know. Everything happens for a reason. The same thing happened with me, and that's what Sachin told me.
