Vikram Rathour On Kohli's Poor Run In T20 World Cup

Kohli played a match-winning innings in the finals against South Africa. On a wicket where batsmen from both sides struggled, Kohli was the only one who looked in an impeccable touch and his innings was one of the deciding points of the game. While speaking to Taruwar Kohli, India's former batting coach Vikram Rathour shed some light on Virat's lean patch in the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup.

'Somebody like Virat knows all the answers. Sometimes you need to take them to those answers which you know are the right ones. He has seen all the highs and the lows. It is an universal truth that players go through a rough patch, bad form, when the runs don't come by. If there is a technical flaw, you should intervene a little and fix that, but it was not the case with Virat. Its just the runs were not coming by. The only thing he required was just the support basically. All of us knew that if he ends up scoring runs in any of the matches, he'll win us the game and he did that in the finals', said Rathour
