Former India captain Virat Kohli might end up playing with Babar Azam in the same team. Sounds unexpected right? But according to a report in Forbes, this might happen in the Afro- Asia Cup which was last played in 2007. India and Pakistan 's stalwarts such as  Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Zaheer Khan, Shoaib Akhtar, Anil Kumble and Shahid Afridi played in the same side.

'Personally, I am very hurt that it (Afro- Asia Cup ) didn't happen. There was not adequate momentum through the ACA, but it is being looked at again. I think it was basically a lack of understanding and not buying into the concept. Our members are regretting it. There are serious concerns about Babar Azam and his current form. Babar Azam, who was touted as the next big thing in Pakistan and global cricket is currently struggling to put bat to ball. Pakistan recently lost to Bangladesh for the first time in their home and since then scrutiny on Babar by the Pakistan crowd has almost doubled. Last year Azam was also stripped off his Test captaincy.
