Virat Kohli has been having a good time as a captain as he led India to away triumphs over West Indies across all formats. He then led India in red-ball cricket where the top-ranked Test side had registered a clean sweep in the three-match series against South Africa recently. By the virtue of this win, India remain undisputed in the ICC World Test Championship rankings with 240 points in five matches. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has been rested for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh and it seems that he is making the most of his free time as he had recently trolled Harbhajan Singh.
Virat Kohli and Yuvraj troll Bhajji
It so happened that one of India's finest spinners Harbhajan Singh who has also made his bat do the talking on many occasions decided to try his luck in golf. The 2011 World Cup winner took to social media and had posted picture of him posing with India's 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev. Bhajji thanked Kapil Dev and wrote that he could not play cricket with the 'Haryana Hurricane' but he was glad that he had played golf with the legendary all-rounder. The veteran off-spinner concluded by saying that he had enjoyed himself.
However, Harbhajan Singh's former Indian team-mates, current skipper Virat Kohli and former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh who were also in Team India's 2011 World Cup-winning squad came forward to take a dig at Bhajji. The duo had trolled Harbhajan in the Punjabi language. Take a look at those hilarious comments.
What is Bhajji up to these days?
The ace spinner has been away from the limelight in international cricket for a while now. He still plays cricket for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and has adopted the commentator as well as expert's role for cricket broadcasters. Harbhajan recently came into the news when he enlisted himself for The Hundred's Draft, England's new 100-ball cricket tournament. However, since the BCCI's rules do not let active players participate in leagues rivalling the IPL, Harbhajan had to pull out of the draft. Harbhajan added that he did not mind this move as his main priority is to play well for the Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming IPL.
